Originally established in 1838 as the Royal Polytechnic Institution, Britain’s first polytechnic, University of Westminster now has a student body of over 23,000 and is a leader in research and education. Over 4,000 international students a year choose to study in London at the University of Westminster, making it one of the top fifteen institutions in the UK for overseas students.
