About University of Nottingham

The University of Nottingham is a public research university located in the city of Nottingham, England. In 1970 the university founded the first Medical School of the 20th century in the United Kingdom and in 1995 the School of Nursing. In 1999 the university began its internationalization by opening a campus in Malaysia and later it became the first foreign university to be invited to establish an independent campus in China. Nottingham is organized into five faculties: Arts, Medicine and Health Sciences, Science, Engineering and Social Sciences and also it has an approximate world student population of 43, 893.
